Scientists from the Laboratory of nano-bioengineering in MEPhI and of the company-resident of SKOLKOVO "SNOTRA" together with the laboratory of bionanotechnology of FICTIO named by academician V.Shumakov, has developed a unique technology for simultaneous characterization of structure and optical properties of nanoobjects. This technology allows to obtain three-dimensional structural and optical images of nano-objects.
Previously, the "SNOTRA" company created a device for the reconstruction of three-dimensional nanostructures of a sample by sequentially slicing the samples with the thinnest layers and scanning probe.
Basing on that, the scientists of the Laboratory of nano-bioengineering national research nuclear in MEPhI, has created a technology that allows not only to study the three-dimensional structure of nanomaterials, but at the same time to conduct their spectral analysis, as well as to determine the chemical composition. The results are published in the world's leading nanotechnology journal ACS NANO.
Professor Nabiev has commented the issue: "the Level of development carried out on the Global level. Technology is in great demand to control the production of nanomaterials, drugs, diagnosis and monitoring of treatment results".
