Director
Faculty for Business Informatics and Integrated Systems Management (FBIISM) is a center of competence in the analysis, design, implementation and management of modern complex information systems and technologies focused on solving problems for digital economy.
The faculty was founded in 1996 and at first was named as Institute for Economic and Analytical Research. Having been restructured several times, the faculty has been providing training for specialists with both engineering knowledge and competencies in the field of economics and management for more than 20 years.
Today the faculty is a platform for fundamental and applied innovative research that has joint projects with academic institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and large corporations. Faculty staff includes honored scientists of the Russian academia who have practical experience in project and business management activities.
Faculty alumni possess knowledge in a wide range of technical, informational and social disciplines. Due to modern practical tools and soft skills obtained during studies, young specialists successfully adapt to working conditions both in state and commercial structures.

Leadership and key personalities
Director: Alexander Putilov (born 1949, Moscow)
Doctor of Technical Sciences.
1971 – graduated from the chemical-technological faculty, Gubkin Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry with a degree in Radiation Chemistry.
1976 – graduated from the extramural department, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in Applied Mathematics.
He worked his way up from a position of junior researcher to the deputy director for research activities of Karpov Research Institute of Physics and Chemistry. Later on he worked as the Head of the Department for Development and Implementation of Production Technologies of the Ministry of Science of Russia, Director of the Department for Development of Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Science of Russia.
In 2003-2004, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Nuclear Fuel Cycle of the Ministry of Atomic Energy of Russia, since 2004 - Advisor to the Head of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency, in 2007-2009 - General Director of Bochvar High-tech Research Institute of Inorganic Materials.
Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology (2000), awarded the medal "In Commemoration of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow" (1997)
In 2009, he headed the Faculty of Economics and Management of High Technologies, which was later transformed into FBIISM.
Alexander Ageev
Head of MEPhI Depertment of Business Project Management (№ 72), Doctor of Economic Sciences, General Director of the Institute for Economic Strategies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INES) and International Research Institute for Management Problems (MNIIPU).
Editor-in-chief of the journal “Economic Strategies” and the international journal “Partnership of Civilizations”, member of the editorial boards of a number of other scientific journals (Digital Economy, Issues of the New Economy, Microeconomics, Bulletin of the Defense Industrial Complex, etc.).
Member of dissertation councils of economic sciences at National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, RUDN University, Central Research Institute of Electronics, Rostech, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Research interests: economic growth, world economy, integration processes, digital transformation, foreign regional studies, management of high-tech sectors of national economy, entrepreneurship, development of competition, information systems creation, development and application of international standards in artificial intelligence, investments, risk management, integrated reporting, etc.
Pyotr Shchedrovitskiy
Head of MEPhI Department for Strategic Planning and Methodology of Management (№ 82). Successor of Soviet and Russian philosopher Georgiy Shchedrovitsky.
Since 1979, he has participated in organizational activity games, specializing in the organization of collective methods for solving problems and developing human resources.
1980 – graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Lenin Moscow Pedagogical Institute. PhD in Philosophy.
From 2008 to 2011 - Deputy General Director for Strategic Development, Director for Science and Technology, State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom.
Recipient of many departmental and state awards.
