Accommodation for 1st-year students

Foreign applicants who have successfully passed the entrance exams and been admitted to the university must arrive at NRNU MEPhI no earlier than August 25 of the current year to check into the dormitory and begin their studies.

Foreign applicants who have moved into the dormitory are required to register with the migration office at the NRC MEPhI dormitory address. Registration with the migration office is carried out at the Office of Organizational and Technical Support for International Activities at NRC MEPhI (G-106).

Students who have left Russia after the entrance exams must register with the migration authorities (contact G-106) within 3 business days from the date of entry into Russia to study at NRNU MEPhI and provide the following documents:

 - passport of a foreign citizen;

 - migration card with the purpose of visit "STUDY";

- study visa (for citizens from visa countries).

Students who have not left Russia after the entrance exams must register for migration within 3 business days of their arrival and actual settlement in the dormitory. They must provide the following documents:

- passport of a foreign citizen;

- migration card with the purpose of visit "STUDY";

- study visa (for citizens from visa countries);

- notification on registration on migration account at the address of the previous actual residence, valid at the time of accommodation in the hostel.
