On the 5th of December the Tenth ceremony to award laureates of the Moscow scientific-practical conference “Student science” has taken place in the Congress centre “Technopolis Moscow”. Over 1,400 winners were awarded in the framework of Russia's largest student research forum.

The conference was held from October 26 to November 30, 2015. 79 universities of Moscow and Moscow region organized more than 400 sessions on the most topical areas: economics, business, history, medicine, sports and much more. Representatives of MEPhI became the winners of the section “Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 in memory of people”: a 2nd year student Roman Torshin was awarded the Diploma of I degree, a 2nd year student Marina Zhigaylova – the Diploma of II degree and a student of the MEPhI Pre-university Ivan Schmidt, who became the youngest participant of the conference – the Diploma of III degree.

The University was also awarded honorary awards of the conference. MEPhI has received a Diploma for organization and holding of the scientific-practical conference.

Moscow scientific and practical conference “Student science” is the largest in Russia students’ scientific forum, which annually unites more than 18 thousand students and postgraduates from 179 educational institutions of higher education of Moscow and Moscow region. Experts of the conference are more than 700 scientists, representatives of public organizations and professional associations.
