The scientific conference “Modern problems of cyber security: threats, challenges, solutions”, organized by the MEPhI Centre “Protected infocommunication technology and systems. Cybersecurity” has been held on 27th of November at the University. The event was attracted by more than 50 participants.
The vice-rector of MEPhI, the Head of the Cybersecurity Center V. Uzhva addressed welcome words to the participants. “Cybersecurity has come into our lives forever”, said Vladimir Vasilyevich, noting that the existing world order is maintained largely thanks to the professional work of experts on cyber security.
MEPhI postgraduate students, associate professors, professors as well as their colleagues from the Belarusian State Technological University presented more than 10 papers. They discussed both research, development and implementation issues of hardware and software protection against cyber threats.
The conference was also attended by the representatives of MEPhI partners – Infowatch.
The next year the Centre plans to attract more professionals in cyber security to discuss emerging topical issues of information security.
