The ranking of US News & World Report has placed MEPhI on the 465th place in the world, 202th place in Europe and 2nd place in Russia (after Lomonosov Moscow State University, which is 227th). In physics MEPhI is on the 127th place in the world (MSU on the 23rd) and also the 2nd in Russia.
