From 30 September to 1 October an annual national exhibition “VUZPROMEXPO. Domestic science – base for industrialization” was held in Moscow exhibition complex “Gostiny Dvor”. The event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition “VUZPROMEXPO-2014” has become a platform that brought together leading scientists of the Russian university science and leaders of domestic entrepreneurship. More than 100 universities and more than 70 industrial enterprises participated in the event. On their stands they demonstrated ways of implementation Russian scientific developments in the domestic high-tech industry. The exhibition presented the largest and most innovative scientific developments, both prepared for introduction at the enterprises of the country, and which is already used in production.

MEPhI also took part in “VUZPROMEXPO-2014”. University stands presented the latest developments of Nano and Engineering Science centers, as well as products of the joint research with the state plant “Pulsar” in the field of semiconductor devices. This year MEPhI was also represented in the Central exhibition, which was devoted to the Program of international competitiveness increase, along with other universities-participants of the project “5-100”.

Like in the last year, the event included business program in addition to the exposition. There participants were able to discuss all questions related to the cooperation of Russian higher educational institutions and industrial companies, rankings of universities and the implementation of different programs.
