On April 25 the final of the tournament for young professionals “TeМП 2014” took place at the JSC “NIKIET”. Winners were determined in four directions: “Industrial efficiency”, “R&D”, “Innovation activity” and “International activities”.

Students of the VETI MEPhI Ilya Konyshev, Denis Dubina and Konstantin Egorov as a team “Atommash” presented a project “Set of equipment for heat treatment” to the jury.

According to the captain of the team Ilya Konyshev the competitive task, finalists of the CJSC “AEM-technology” had been set, was actual and perspective. That is why all participants of the project worked with great dedication that made it possible to represent the solution at a high level and win the 1st place in projects competition in the direction “Industrial efficiency”.

Students received from Sergei Kiriyenko, a director general of the State Corporation “Rosatom”, letters of employment recommendation to companies within the industry, computer tablets Apple iPad mini with a knowledge base on nuclear industry and invitations to participate in the Youth Innovation Forum “Boost” in July this year.

VETI MEPhI student Natalia Oskanian also was in the final of the tournament as a member of a Siberian chemical plant team, which took the second place. Natalia received recommendations signed by Sergei Kiriyenko, and an invitation to visit a nuclear submarine.

At all the tournament was attended by over than 100 students of the VETI MEPhI.
