On October 23, 2026, the tenth issue of the Moscow International University Ranking "Three University Missions" was published. The special feature of this rating is that it evaluates all three key missions of the university: education, science and interaction with society, while reputation surveys are completely excluded (16 indicators in total). The National Research Nuclear University MEPhI has entered the TOP 5 best Russian universities and the TOP 200 in the world.

The ranking includes 2,000 universities from 111 countries. The United States (261), China (258), and Russia (151) lead in terms of the number of universities represented in the ranking.
