On July 1, 2026, the Expert Analytical Center published a rating of scientific productivity of Russian universities. The ranking assessed the publication activity of universities in leading scientific journals included in the international Scopus database, including the number of articles in Q1, their citation, the Hirsch index, etc.
For the first time, MEPhI entered the TOP 3 in Russia in the field of Quantum Technologies. It should be noted that the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI took the 3rd place in the field of Physics and Astronomy.
