Professor Nikolai Kargin, Director of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI's Center for Electronic and Quantum Technologies Based on Synthetic Diamond, visited the laboratory of Nobel laureate Professor Konstantin Novoselov in Singapore.

During the visit, negotiations were held on potential areas of cooperation. Both sides discussed the prospects for joint research projects in the fields of quantum optics, diamond electronics, and synthetic diamond technologies.

NCMU NRU MEPhI was established on the basis of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and is focused on the development of new components, research in the field of quantum optics and the training of highly qualified specialists. The center's funding has been approved for three years, and its goal is to strengthen Russia's leadership in electronic and quantum technologies.

This visit is another step in the development of advanced quantum technologies.
