The University of the Kingdom of Morocco has proposed that MEPhI launch two master's degree programs from 2025.
Relevant agreements were reached by a delegation of the MEPhI National Research University headed by Vice-Rector Dmitry Savkin during a visit to Ibn Tofail University (external link) in the city of Kenitra of the Kingdom of Morocco.
The rector of the Moroccan University, Azzedine El-Midawi, suggested that our university launch two master's degree programs in artificial intelligence and financial security from 2025. He also invited MEPhI teachers to attend lectures at Ibn Tophail University, which has a large campus and research infrastructure. Professor Adil Eshsheikh, Vice President for Scientific Research and International Cooperation at Ibn Tofail University, proposed to develop scientific cooperation in the field of high energy physics, artificial intelligence, and information technology.
Other agreements have also been reached on cooperation in the field of education and research, and vectors for the creation of joint educational programs and summer engineering schools have been outlined.
More than 120,000 students study at Ibn Tofail University, founded in 1989. This university is considered one of the largest and most prestigious institutions of higher education in Morocco.
