On October 13, in the new building of the MEPhI dormitory, a meeting took place between the Minister of Science and Technology of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Mr. Myo Thein Kyaw, and his compatriots – students of MEPhI.

The minister emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.

The minister’s visit to our university took place as part of the official visit to Russia of the Myanmar delegation, headed by the Minister of Energy of that country.

MEPhI Vice-Rector Dmitry Savkin took part in the meeting.
