MEPhI ranked first among Russian universities and 40th in the world in the International Round University Ranking Natural Sciences 2022. The study was published on December 8 by the Round University Ranking (RUR) agency.

In addition, MEPhI entered the Top 100 best universities in the world Round University Ranking Technical Sciences 2022 (4th place in Russia) and for the first time entered the Top 300 in the direction of Round University Ranking Life Sciences 2022 (8th place in Russia).

The study included about 1000 universities from more than 80 countries.

Round University Ranking uses bibliometric, statistical and reputation data from Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters) and others to study universities.
