The MEPhI team successfully performed at the 7th industry championship of professional skills of the State Corporation Rosatom according to the WorldSkills methodology - AtomSkills-2022. University students and staff received 8 medals in 6 competencies.
Bronze awards:
- In the "Quantum Technologies" competence – Anton Volkov (participant) and Evgeny Anikin (expert)
- "Turning on CNC machines" competence – Pavel Kushnir (participant) and Anton Pavlov (expert)
- "Prototyping" competence – Anastasia Mamontova (participant), Kirill Puzynya (expert)
Silver awards:
- "Quantum technologies" competence – Kirill Dyadkin (participant), Yana Lyakhova (expert)
- "Information security" competence – Pavel Blinnikov (participant), Evgeny Velikoivanenko (participant), Nikolai Karapetyants (expert).
- "Welding technologies" competence – Nikolay Shirokov (participant)
- "Prototyping" competence – Valerian Karimov (participant), Yury Orlov (expert)
And finally, a MEPhI student Valeria Logacheva with an expert Yuri Zhukovsky received a gold award in the "Additive Technologies" competency.
The rector of the university Vladimir Shevchenko, who followed the awards from the audience, rejoiced at the victories together with the team members.
It is worth noting that our gold medalists are experienced players: in 2021 they already received a silver medal in the “Additive Technologies” competency at the DigitalSkills industry championship, and in 2020 they received a gold medal in the “Additive Manufacturing” competency at the IV National Interuniversity Championship “Young professionals” (WorldSkillsRussia).
This year, the MEPhI team, consisting of 116 people representing 12 university branches, took part in the AtomSkills competition in 23 competencies.
