MEPhI ranked fourth among the best universities in Russia in 2022 according to the RAEX-100 ranking.

The top 5 of the ranking also included Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Higher School of Economics and St. Petersburg State University.

It should be reminded that in a number of national rankings MEPhI consistently occupies a leading position in terms of the quality of education, popularity among students, the level of teaching in the subject areas "Information Technology", "Nuclear Physics and Technology", "Physics" and "Technology of Materials", and is also included in the top-3 universities in a number of general university rankings, including in terms of the level of salaries of graduates in the IT field.
