Students of the Institute for Financial Technologies and Economic Security (IFTES) of the MEPhI took part in the 35th Plenary Meeting of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (EAG).

Representatives of the EAG member states, the Secretariat of the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF), as well as observer states and organizations of the Group took part in the event, which was held online on November 18 under the chairmanship of Rosfinmonitoring Director Yuri Chikhanchin.

Students of IFTES of the MEPhI, winners of the International Olympiad in Financial Security Yaroslav Gerashchenko and Soumujit Mukherjee (India) took part in the discussion of increasing financial literacy in the EAG countries in the framework of educational projects as a key element of general security. They shared their impressions of the Olympiad and talked about their scientific activities.⠀
