The social block is located near the educational building of the branch. It has a dormitory building for 212 students, a separate hotel for foreign professors with 21 rooms, a dormitory for teachers with 42 apartments, a large kitchen-dining room for 100 people, a gym, football and volleyball courts.

At the event, welcoming remarks were made by the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdukodir Toshkulov, Director General of the Uzatom Agency Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Executive Director Shavkat Abdukamilov, as well as professors, teachers and representatives of the public.

Branch Director Yuri Maslov conveyed congratulations of the acting Rector of MEPhI Vladimir Shevchenko with the opening of the social block, coinciding with the national holiday of the Day of Teachers and Tutors, and also presented diplomas to the teachers of the branch.

The branch was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 20, 2018, and today 268 students study there in four areas of training
