Education program «5х5. Business and engineering innovation» was finished on 20th May 2021. The program operated at five engineering universities: MEPhI, MISiS, Russian University of Transport, Moscow Polytechnic University and Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics. It was supported by the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the city of Moscow.

During two month, students learned about technological entrepreneurship, engineering project management, team building, business economics and its promotion. The educational program included master classes and lectures, consultations with mentors and peer-to-peer meetings. In addition, the program has become a platform for networking to share experiences and launch startups.

Two projects of MEPhI students —  ’Smart containers for growing crops at home’ and ‘Device for generating energy while walking’ — were recognized as one of the best. They will receive support in the implementation.

Each participant who successfully completed the course received a certificate and was invited to the Business Update Moscow community of young entrepreneurs, where he or she can improve the project and find investors.
