National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (IPEN, Brazil) signed up a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of research and educational programs implementation.

MEPhI and IPEN plan to develop partnerships in such areas as the implementation of joint research programs; joint training of specialists in the field of peaceful use of nuclear technologies; organization of scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, symposium and workshops; joint publications in specialized scientific journals. It is also planned to develop student exchange programs.

Within the framework of the joint IPEN Master's program in Nuclear Science and Technology 2021-2024, leading specialists of MEPhI will conduct educational modules, including lectures, practical parts, and obligatory testing at the end of each module.

The first educational modules will run from November 30, 2020 to January 29, 2021.
