Famous scientists will discuss the future with young people
27.11.2020

The Next75 Youth Conference will be held on December 16. Businesspeople and famous scientists, including Nobel prize winners, will take part in the event. They will talk to young people about the future for our planet and humanity.

What will the next 75 years bring humankind? How can we overcome the deficit of resources and demographic challenges? How can we protect the world from new pandemics? When will we hit the point of no return with climate change? Which new technologies will reign supreme? Experts will search for answers to these and other questions together with the young generation. Together, they will – most likely – be able to find them.

The conference will be held in the Atom Hall of the Main Media Centre in Sochi. The venue will host school and university students, world-renowned scientists and thought leaders. The event format will be mixed – some guests and participants will connect online.

Over 600 young people from five continents, including Russian and foreign students of Rosatom base universities and participants of Sirius Education Centre programs, will participate in the event. The renowned speakers won’t just talk with the audience about the future, but will also share their success stories and experience.

Among the Next75 speakers, we expect to see Oliver Stone, film director, producer, and writer, Rae Kwon Chung, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Member of the International Committee on the Awarding of the Global Energy Prize, professor Emeritus, Maye Musk, Model, blogger. The mother of Elon Musk. Melita Vujnovic, The World Health Organization (WHO) Representative and Head of WHO Office in the Russian Federation, Jane Morris Goodall, United Nations Messenger of Peace and others.

Next75 will gather over 600 participants and thousands spectators from all over the world.
