On August 27, the Moscow International University Ranking was published. This year, 1500 universities from 97 countries are participating in it. In the ranking Russia is represented by 101 universities.
National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" took 147thplace in the world and 5th among all Russian universities. According to the group of criteria "Education" MEPhI entered the world top-100.
The Moscow International University Ranking assesses the three key missions of the university: education, science and interaction with society. The formation of the Moscow international ranking "Three University Missions" was initiated by the Russian Union of Rectors in 2016. The rating methodology went through a large-scale public discussion, in which took part over 100 universities. To compile the ranking, only objective criteria approved by an international group of experts are used. Approved by an international group of experts, objective criteria are used to compile the ranking.
