On October 21, the Round University Ranking Agency (RUR) has presented the results of two subject ratings — in the field of Natural and Technical Sciences.

MEPhI has ranked the 46th in the world in the RUR Natural Sciences ranking (1st place among all Russian universities). At the same time, in the areas of “Teaching” and “International Diversity”, MEPhI became a leader among Russian universities and took the 18th and 62nd places in the world respectively.

In the RUR Technical Sciences rating, MEPhI also improved its position – 202nd place in the world (in 2018 – 226th place) and 4th place among Russian universities.

The Round University Ranking is an international University ranking published by the RUR Rating Agency in conjunction with the Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters). For 10 years, the rating evaluates the activities of more than a thousand leading universities in the world in six areas: Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Technical Sciences, Humanities, Health Sciences and Life Sciences. The RUR rankings use 20 indicators grouped into four groups: quality of teaching, level of research, degree of internationalization, and financial sustainability.
