MEPhI hosted the VII International Conference "Problems of Mathematical Physics and Mathematical Modeling" from 25 to 27 June.

The co-chairs of the conference were: Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.V. Kozlov, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics of the NNIU MEPhI, Professor N.A. Kudryashov, Head of the Department of Higher Mathematics of the NNIU MEPhI, Professor O.V. Nagornov.

The work of three sections was organized: "Methods of mathematical physics", "Mathematical modeling of physical processes" and "Mathematical methods of data processing and analysis".

More than 100 reports were presented by scientists from leading Russian universities: MEPhI, MIPT, MSU, SPbSU, as well as foreign researchers from Great Britain, Germany, Iran, Canada, Mexico, Moldova, Norway, China, Thailand, Finland, France.

The best reports are planned to be published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series by IOP.
