The first universities’ ranking whose students are best at solving business problems has been presented in Russia. The study, prepared by the Changellenge educational platform, is based on the results of ten case-championships – team competitions where students had to solve real tasks from the practice of large companies.

In total, about 15 thousand people from more than 150 Russian and foreign universities took part in competitions. Students solved business problems from such companies as Sberbank, Raiffeisenbank, Severstal, Alfa-Bank, Norilsk Nickel, Danone, and MegaFon.

It is worth noting that the students of MEPhI take an active part in the championships from Changellenge, bringing the University well-deserved awards. Among the recent victories are: 1st place in the technical case championship Changellenge Cup Technical-2017, the 2nd and 4th places in the Changellenge Cup Moscow -2017.

The case club of MEPhI was founded by University students – winners of the case competition Cup Technical-2015 with the aim to increase students’ skills in the solution of problems and to prepare them for business case championships. The case club regularly conducts trainings, which evaluate the real problems faced by companies, organizes meetings with experts, representatives of companies, as well as winners of case championships, who share their experience.

Since the foundation of the case club, dozens of MEPhI teams took part in the championships: Cup Technical, Moscow Cup, Unilever Future Leaders League, McKinsey&Co Business Diving and others.
