The Rating Agency RAEX (Expert RA) has prepared the third annual ranking of the 200 best schools in Russia. The purpose of rating is to determine which school prepares the largest number of students for the Russian universities, included in the top 20 of the RAEX ranking.

The main purpose of this list is not to evaluate the quantity of school graduates, but to clarify the concentration of talented and successful graduates in the schools, regardless of the size of the educational institution.

This dimension is valuable as to parents of students as to students themselves, who are aimed to enter a prestigious university, because in fact it shows the strong degree of concentration of graduates in specific schools.

The Pre-university of MEPhI has entered the top five of best schools in the country for admission to the leading universities of Russia.

The research was conducted on the basis of exclusive data that universities provided to a rating agency. Amounts of information transmitted by the universities increased from year to year: last year data were analyzed on admission at 17 best universities in the country, now the rating is based on the statistics from all the universities from the top 20 of the RAEX ranking 2016. In total, it was processed admission details of more than ninety three thousand graduates of the twenty thousand Russian schools.
