In 2017 access has been opened to various collections of full-text scientific and educational resources of citations and analytical databases from MEPhI computers, including the ones in the branches.

For the first time access has been granted to the following resources:

• Publisher IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.): 179 IEEE journals, works of more than 1400 annual conferences of the IEEE and the IET; IEEE standards for key branches of the industry.
• SciFinder, chemistry database, covering more than 99% of the current literature on chemistry, including patents.

To gain access to each resource the user must be registered in SciFinder system. For MEPhI computers use the following link.

An access to resources, traditionally popular in MEPhI, has been renewed:

• The American Physical Society  (American Physical Society).
• American Mathematical Society  (American Mathematical Society) MathSciNet.
• International Patent Questel-based data at portal  http://orbit.com (you should press the "Login" button for a page to log on).
• Russian Science Citation Index on the platform www.webofknowledge.com - 1000 leading Russian magazines across all scientific fields, placed on a platform of Tomson Reuters.
• Journal Nuclear Science and Engineering of the American Nuclear Society.

To ensure the educational process subjects taught in English, there is a subscription to book collections of foreign publishers:

• Collection «Evidence Based Selection» by Elsevier publishing house. Full texts of more than 1,000 monographs are available in the electronic form.
• The collection of books of by 2005-2017 Springer publishing house.
• ProQuest Ebook Central includes more than 28,000 full-text e-books on science and technology from foreign scientific publishers.

There is also access to citation and analytical databases Scopus, Web of Science, SciVal, InCites; to Freedom Collection publisher Elsevier (more than 3,500 journals in all subject areas), Journal of the American Optical Society, a collection of publications of theoretical and applied research in the field of Optics and Photonics SPIE Digital Library, and others.

When working with the resources it is necessary to comply with the license conditions between MEPhI and organizations, which provided access to the database, according to which a continuous (consecutive) copying of entire volumes or issues of magazines, conference proceedings, all search results as well as the use for the purpose of automatic search engines are prohibited.

All resources are available from computers of MEPhI, including its branches, except for the database of Elsevier publishing, access to which is open only in the main university.

Additionally, we offer a service of document delivery and interlibrary card, when the desired document is not in the list of available resources for the university.
