Russian Venture Company (RVC) and ITMO University summed up the results of monitoring the effectiveness of innovative activity of 40 leading universities of the country. Educational institutions were evaluated on three basic criteria: the development of innovation and the business environment, technology transfer, the influence on the external socio-economic environment.
MEPhI has become the leader of the consolidated ranking, which was the result of the successful implementation of programs for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship. MEPhI topped the monitoring in criteria of "Innovative and entrepreneurial environment at university and its effectiveness" and "Technology Transfer at University" and took the third line in the parameter "University influence on external socio-economic environment".
RVC is a state institute of development, one of the state key tools on building of a national innovative system. During its activity the company has created a set of tools, aimed at creating educational and methodological services for market participants, increasing of the global competitiveness of Russian technology companies.
