Russian Venture Company JSC “RVC” and MEPhI have signed an agreement about cooperation and have made a Working program for 2016-2018. The documents were signed by Acting Head of RVC Evgeniy Kuznetsov and MEPhI Rector Mikhail Strikhanov.
The agreement is aimed at the complex development of Russian innovative ecosystem, in particular, the support of high-technology enterprises, forming of conditions for the development of innovative business, setting up of transparent mechanisms for financial support of innovative business.
The main directions of cooperation include joint educational, innovative-enterprise, information-consulting activity. In particular, the sides are planning joint educational initiatives, including the development and realization of training programs for highly-qualified personnel, internship programs for young enterprisers and leading innovative companies, and the support of specialists in the field of the development of innovative ecosystem. It is planned to organize seminars and workshops for research start-ups, and launch programs of further education on the basis of the university.
RVC and MEPhI will unite their efforts as partners to build and develop effective innovative infrastructure, search and support high-technology developments with high potential of growth on innovative-technology markets. RVC and MEPhI will also support small innovative companies in the promotion of their products in Russia and abroad.
Our university will take part in the creation of technologies, personnel and innovative enterprises in spheres of new industries as a part of realization of the National Technological Initiative. The participation of MEPhI projects in roadmaps of STI markets is also planned. Moreover, work on the development of technological transfer in the field of high-tech developments is planned as a part of cooperation, as a result of which the launch and working out of several pilot projects are planned.

This cooperation is developed not only in the sector of nuclear industry, but also in the fields of biomedicine, cybernetic systems, electronics, spintronics, and photonics, which are now relevant for the National Technological Initiative. In that sense an agreement with MEPhI has a strategic meaning for us,” says Acting Head of RVC Evgeniy Kuznetsov. “The realization of joint programs with university will encourage the inflow of investments, stimulate enterprise initiatives, speed up the process of commercialization of scientific developments and the output of high technology products in demand on market.”
MEPhI Rector Mikhail Strikhanov: “An agreement with RVC will allow unite our competences in educational and enterprise activity, develop science and education in the direction of application of the results of the scientific research and experimental developments in business. Thanks to RVC possibilities we hope to stimulate the commercialization of results of our university’s intellectual activity.”
