A flashmob “Innovator’s challenge” has started in university social networks and accounts of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF. For several months leading universities of Russia (federal and research institutes) tell about their research achievements, passing the baton to their colleagues in a minute video. Six Russian universities have taken part in the initiative since its beginning.

MEPhI traditionally holds leading positions in the sphere of engineering education, and, having modern equipment and high-quality personnel, conducts leading research in different fields of science. Our university has accepted the challenge of Belgorod State National Research University.

In our university’s laboratory diamond bearing composite material has been obtained with the help of high-voltage impulse consolidation. Thanks to unique technologies the created material is applied for the processing of highly rigid materials and rock formations. This is what MEPhI told about in its video and passed the baton to Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
