MEPhI graduates’ salary is more than 60000 a month. Such data is given on the portal “Monitoring of graduates’ employment” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF.

According to the monitoring results of former students’ employment, as a part of which the data of more than 1000172 people has been processed, graduates of the direction “Nuclear energetics and technologies” have one of the biggest salaries – on average they get more than 48000 rubles across the country. MEPhI graduates get more than 62 thousand rubles; this is the third result among 10 enlarged groups of university directions. At the scale of Russian higher education the direction “Nuclear energetics and technologies” is on the second place in top-5 of well-paid jobs; only aviation and aerospace specialisations are ahead of it.

According to the results of the analysis of 1453 people, conducted by the Pension Fund of the RF, the percentage of working MEPhI graduates (getting education for the first time except for Master’s degree graduates) is 85 %, their average age is 24 years. An average salary which young specialists get after graduation the nuclear university is 60445 rubles.

The Ministry of Education and Science of the RF has held the second monitoring of the university graduates’ employment, based on the analysis of data on employment and average salary of university graduates of 2014, following the results of their employment in 2015. The data on university graduates was provided by the Pension Fund of the RF, Rosobrnadzor and educational organisations.
