On June, 28th a seminar on topic “Participation in international scientific-technical and innovative projects” was held in MEPhI. The reporter was the Head of the Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Korotkov.
At the seminar the most acute topics, connected with the development of scientific-technical cooperation, have been discussed. Dmitriy Korotkov told about announced contests in cooperation with other countries and contests, planned for 2017-2020. The participants of the seminar discussed the possibilities of joining existing projects in cooperation with BRICS countries, the European Union and common state Belarus. The upcoming opportunities of getting grants in programs Horizon 2020, ERA-NET, NSF – America and cooperation with India have been considered.
The representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has paid attention to the problems of cooperation with some countries, giving the example of Japan and its sector-specific interest in the Arctic region.
“Russian science needs the development of international cooperation, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF constantly helps it”, - summarized his speech Dmitriy Korotkov.
The seminar has provoked real interest among university’s employees. According to the words of its participants, the obtained information is very useful for heads of departments and all those that are going to deal with or deal with international cooperation in the field of science.
