MEPhI, as in the previous year, has been shortlisted for the top-3 of Russian universities according to the RAEX («Expert RA») ranking agency. The official presentation of the ranking took place on June, 2 at the IV International forum of leading universities in Moscow.

A complex research used statistical information, and a large-scale survey covered more than 28000 people: employers, representatives of academic and scientific communities, students and graduates.

According to the statistics and data of reputational measuring, the winners of the rating provide high-quality education and are the strongest in the research activity.

Thus, MEPhI became the second among Russian universities judging by the level of research activity (the first among 5-100 Project participants). The results of indices’ estimation served as the basis for ranging according to this criterion: “scientific achievements”, “innovative activity”, “innovative infrastructure”.

Compared to the previous year, our university has shown a positive dynamic on criteria “conditions for getting quality education” (became 7^th instead of 8^th) and “conditions of graduates’ employability” (became 6^th instead of 7^th).

The awarding ceremony for universities and people who made a huge contribution into the development of education in Russia, took place as a part of the forum. MEPhI has been awarded a diploma of RAEX ranking agency for its contribution into the innovative activity.
