On June, 1st the “Interfax” group has represented results of the annual National University ranking following the results of 2015/2016 academic year.
As in the previous year, MEPhI is in the top-5 of best Russian universities in sections “Educational activity” and “University brand”. In November an overall rating will be published which will consider, apart from listed nominations, university achievements in such fields as research, socialization, internationalization, enterprises and innovations. We should mention that in the academic year of 2014/2015 MEPhI was on the 2nd place.
The 1st place in work with schools and schoolchildren became another achievement for our university this year.
About the rating
238 Russian universities entered the National university rating of 2015/2016. The estimation is made on the basis of processed surveys, filled in by universities representatives, the data from universities’ official websites, public information resources of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF, and information from informational and analytical systems SPARK and SCAN.
The International informational group “Interfax” forms ratings of universities of the Russian Federation since December, 2009. The main aim of the project is the development of mechanisms and procedures of independent system of evaluation of Russian universities and their educational programs, raising of competitiveness of Russian educational system, scientific research and technological enterprising.
