On April, 21, 2016 a delegation from Vrije University Brussel consisting of the first pro-rector Jan Paul Herman Cornelis and Professors Dean Vucinic, Abdellah Touhafi, Roger André Vounckx has visited MEPhI.

First pro-rector Nagornov O.V., pro-rector Uzhva V.V., dean Tikhomirov G.V., professors, teachers, research fellows, postgraduates and students have taken part in the meeting from MEPhI side.

During the session the sides have discussed questions of mutual cooperation in the field of nuclear education, conducting of joint research and development of programs of engineering nuclear training.

The latest MEPhI developments have been shown to the participants: the delegation from Vrije University Brussel has visited the Nanocenter, the Laser Center, the Department №2 of Automatics. An opinion exchange on acute questions of modern technological solutions has taken place as a part of the visit of MEPhI academic departments, the vector of the joint research has been outlined.

University representatives have decided to continue expert opinion exchange and work out mutual ideas on cooperation in work as a result of the meeting.
