On April, 5th a meeting of Council on professional qualifications in nuclear energy has been held in the Rosatom State Corporation.
The following people have taken part in the work of the meeting: Stanislav Anikeev – Personnel Director at JSC «ATOMREDMETZOLOTO», Alexander Vanichkin – secretary at Central committee of Russian Trade Union of Nuclear Power and Industry Workers (RTUNPIW), Elena Vesna – MEPhI Pro-rector for teaching and studies, Dmitry Gasten - Director of HR policy department in Rosatom, Sergey Dmitriev – Rector of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev, Andrey Egorov – Deputy Head of Directorate of Nuclear weapons complex, Director of the Department of Nuclear Weapons Industry in Rosatom, Yuriy Kapralov – Head in teaching and studies in FSUE VO “Safety”, Igor Loshakov – Deputy Head of Personnel and General Affairs of JSC "TECHSNABEXPORT", Alexander Pavlov – Head of the group on development of systems of professional qualifications in electric power of RaEl Association, executive secretary of ESPK, Natalia Sobakinskaia – Head of Department of Personnel management in JSC “TVEL”, Ksenia Sukhotina, First Deputy Head of JSC Atomenergomash in strategy and organisation development, leading specialists of the industry, members of working groups in the Council.
MEPhI experts have also been invited and took part in the roundtables of expert community “Industry frame of qualifications in the field of nuclear energy – project” which was held on March, 29th.
The meeting has been conducted by Andrey Khitrov - General Director of the Russian Union of Nuclear Energy, Industry and Science.
The agenda of the meeting included issues on the results of the Council’s activity in nuclear energy for 2015 and current year working plans.
Khitrov has claimed that the key goals have been reached: the creation of the Council, forming of its working groups, forming of standard and procedure documents. 13 professional standards have been worked out and approved with the participation of MEPhI experts in 2015. Moreover, 60 interface and inter-industry standards have been analysed.
E.B. Vesna has highlighted that there are differences in state and socio-professional accreditation procedures. All in all, the meeting has become a push for future implementing of system of development and evaluation of qualifications in nuclear industry, opening new opportunities for using of expert community potential represented by National Nuclear Innovation Consortium and Rosatom Association of supporting universities including MEPhI.
