On March 26 Faculty of part-time (evening) education MEPhI has opened its doors for high school pupils, students of specialized colleges and lyceums, as well as young workers – all those who are considering higher education in this traditionally popular form of training.

The obvious advantage of evening education is the opportunity to combine work and study, as it is a real method of obtaining high-quality higher education for working youth. Interest in the MEPhI is quite natural because a key factor in the choice of University is not only a feature of study, but also the status of the University and also the level of knowledge that it gives to its graduates, regardless of the form of training. A high quality education that meets international standards is confirmed by the presence of the University in top 100 of world subject rankings.

The Faculty motto is “Quality education – interesting work – good career!” which is fully confirmed by the success of its graduates. According to the Faculty Dean B.F. Anufriev, today many its graduates are the leaders in the main research companies and major structural divisions, the winners of prestigious contests and awards.

MEPhI Part-time evening faculty offers its students the opportunity to receive education in four specialities that cover the entire spectrum of disciplines taught at the University. On this day representatives of the Faculty familiarized prospective students with a profile of their departments: Department №3 “Electronics”, Department №14 “Electrophysical installations”, Department №12 “Computer systems and technologies”, Department №28 “Systems analysis”, Department №27 “Micro- and nanoelectronics”.

Young people were able to receive more detailed information about future professions and fields of study at the University while visiting basic departments and laboratories of the Faculty, organized after the official part of the event.
