- Psychological support hotline for students and staff of higher education institutions: +7 495 788-5699 *9777
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation arranged a hotline to provide psychological assistance to students, as well as employees of higher educational institutions based on Psychological Center of NRNU MEPhI.
Psychologists can help not only students and employees of MEPhI, but also students from other universities, foreign citizens, as well as refugees arriving from the DPR and LPR.
- "Mentoring" special project
The community of NRNU MEPhI alumni has launched a special project – “a mentoring program”. The main message of the project: MEPhI is a place where any students, professor or alumni is understood, where you can find like-minded people, find old friends again and make new ones.
Mentors' apprentices will be able to more formulate their career meanings and ways to implement them, and mentors will have the opportunity to feed on new ideas, improve their leadership skills, and, perhaps, even rethink past experience.

Fact Checking Instructions
To navigate the news flow, today everyone needs to be able to check and double-check information - to perform fact-checking.
We share a 6-step instruction based on Nikita Nepryakhin's Anatomy of Delusions.
Step 1
Read the news in full
Don't judge news by its headline. They can be provocative and not correspond to the content of the article.
Step 2
Study the source of the news
Pay attention to the site URL. Sometimes fake resources disguise themselves as popular ones, copying the design and changing one letter in the spelling of the address. See also the date of the news.
Step 3
Find the source
Follow the link in this article and find the resource that originally reported this event. Look for confirmation from various sources.
Step 4
Is there an author for this article? What other articles did he publish? Is there any information about him on the Internet? What did he write about before?
Step 5
Think about prejudice
Excessive emotionality is a sign of fake or propaganda. Consider who might be interested in spreading the news.
Step 6
Contact the experts.
Experts may not answer all your questions, but they can help analyze the information and provide other sources of insight.
Russian Educational Online Platforms
The educational platform Coursera has suspended its activities in Russia. However, most of the courses in Russian are already duplicated on the domestic educational platforms, as well as on the universities websites. In the near future, the largest Russian universities will complete the transfer of their courses to these sites:
- Open Education is a modern educational platform that contains more than 120 online courses from MEPhI. Today it has become the main tool for promoting the educational content of our university and many Russian universities.
- The Russian project "Modern Digital Educational Environment" also offers more than 50 MEPhI courses and about 1,500 other digital educational products.
- Stepik is an educational platform and online course builder that provides access to courses in various disciplines.
