MEPhI students organize online-activities

Due to epidemiological situation and in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, our university, like all Russian universities, has switched to a distance learning format. This measures help to minimize the number of personal contacts and to avoid the accumulation of a large number of students in classrooms.
But student life does not consist only of study, so we offer all mephists to participate in various online activities that we launch during the period of forced restriction of personal contacts and going out.
- Online circles and workshops:
- master classes from the student media center “Public speaking and training diction” (Sergey Balakir)
- chemistry club (Dmitry Gorbunov)
- programming group (Ivan Nizhnichenko)
- Adobe Primer workshop (Maria Istomina)
- circle on work in the program Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (Yuri Timofeev)
- Open online scientific lectures from the student scientific society
- Intelligent online game “What? Where? When?"
- Online book club (we discuss what we read online with Sergey Balakir, vote for the book of the week and etc.)
- Online movie club (we broadcast films online and discuss it with Polina Lavrentieva)
- Open online chess tournament — register, participate, win and get prizes!
- Sports Instagram action of SSK "Reactor" — every morning we give a training program, you execute it and make post on Instagram. We determine the winners and give prizes!
- "Mafia" goes online! Margarita Pasechnik starts registering players!
- The contest "Miss and Mister of MEPhI" will be held online. Follow in real time on the Internet!
