Student from Balakovo wins Russian contest “Young strategists of Russia”

Moscow has hosted the Final of the Russian contest “Young strategists of Russia”. A student of the Balakovo Engineering and Technological Institute – branch of MEPhI – Artem Glukhov became the winner for the essay “Before leaving switch off the light” in the direction “Drawings and essays about development of system of housing and communal services”.

The competition “Young strategists of Russia” is aimed at the identification, maintenance and support of talented young people who are actively involved in socio-economic development of municipalities in the Russian Federation. Out of 800 submitted works experts selected about 300 finalists invited to Moscow to participate in the final.

Young strategists had rich program aimed at identifying skills for effective work and management in the field of municipal units’ development. During the competition, young people communicated, consulted and exchanged experience with experts in the field of development of local government, housing, small and medium enterprises. Schoolchildren and students defended their projects and works before the jury, which included representatives of municipalities and Federal Executive and legislature authorities.

Solemn awarding of winners of the Competition “Young strategists of Russia” took place in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
