New method of heat emission intensification worked out at Department of Thermal Physics

Application of effective thermal emission equipment at industrial enterprises is one of the main tasks of industrial modernization in Russia. Raising of electroenergetics efficiency supposes its innovative development with the application of new materials and technologies, in particular, on the basis of superconductivity effect. It explains the necessity of the research of the heat transfer regularities to the cryogenic liquids and methods of the heat exchange intensification.

Department of Thermal Physics №13 employees have worked out a new method of the heat emission intensification with the help of local thermal impulses. It has been shown that there is a possibility of the intensification of heat emission to the liquid nitrogen because of the impact of the short thermal impulse.

During the research scientists have estimated the energy of the local thermal exposure leading to the intensification of the heat emission to the liquid nitrogen.

The developed method can be used in the systems of thermal stabilization of high temperature super conductivity devices.
