The HITCTF-2024 international online cybersecurity tournament was held from November 30th to December 1st, 2024, organized by the Association of Technical Universities of Russia and China (Harbin Polytechnic University (HPU)).
This competition is held in accordance with the international rules of the game "Capture the Flag" (CTF). Through this competition, participating teams will be able to acquire and demonstrate computer science skills, improve their knowledge and practical skills in the field of cybersecurity, innovation and interpersonal communications. In addition, it creates conditions for the development of cooperation between universities. On behalf of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, the Russian team that ranks 3rd according to CTFtime took part in the international tournament and became the first best team among the Russian participants. Here are the names of our winners: Polina Demura, Stepan Nikiforov, Mikhail Davydov, Alexander Konovalov and Alexey Tarasov.
