The State Corporation "Rosatom" and MEPhI announce the start of a creative international video competition for foreign students from Rosatom's flagship universities.
Dates of the YouRussia competition:
Applications for the competition are accepted until November 20, 2023 (inclusive);
Winners will be awarded on November 30, 2023.
The results of the YouRussia competition will be summed up as part of the international festival “All Flags Will Visit Us” in Obninsk, and three winners will receive valuable prizes:
- 1st place – smartphone
- 2nd place – tablet
- 3rd place – smart watches
Audience Award based on the results of open voting.
Video requirements:
- horizontal video format;
- the desired video resolution is at least 1280x720px;
- recommended video length is from 2 to 7 minutes;
- language - Russian or English.
Subject of the competition:
- Russian traditions;
- Russian holidays;
- cultural heritage;
- cuisine of the peoples of Russia;
- sports achievements;
- National Costume;
- legacy of history;
- features of ecological life in Russia, etc.
The participant independently determines the genre of the video (interview, report, video clip, etc.), which will maximally reveal the goals of the competition and the creative idea.
The winners of the competition will be determined by a jury, which, when evaluating the videos, will be guided by the following criteria:
- originality of idea, creative approach;
- completeness and imagery of idea disclosure;
- video quality;
- video script;
- information content;
- aesthetics of the work (general emotional perception);
- compliance of the content of the creative video with the conditions and topics of the Competition.
To register to participate in the competition, you must follow the link https://forms.yandex.ru/cloud/65437073068ff06077b5872f/ and fill out the Yandex.form before November 20, 2023.
Works proposed for the competition must be uploaded to a cloud storage with open access; links to uploaded videos should be sent to the address: yourussia@mephi.ru with the note YouRussia_First Name_Last Name of the participant.

Only videos produced by foreign students studying at Rosatom flagship universities are accepted for the competition.
