Entering the new academic year, the Pre-University of MEPhI sums up the results of the 2022-2023 academic year.

In 2023, the Pre-University of MEPhI, according to the ranking of the RAEX agency, entered the TOP-5 best schools in Russia in terms of the number of graduates enrolled in leading Russian universities, taking 4th place. This means that 100% of graduates entered the leading universities of the country, and 92% - in universities in the field of study.

I would especially like to note that our lyceum students choose our university as a priority for higher education. The share of lyceum graduates who entered MEPhI this year increased to 46% (last year it was 44%).

Traditionally, high results of lyceum graduates in the Unified State Examination: the number of those who passed the Unified State Exam with a score of more than 80 points is 68% in physics and 51% in mathematics (in Russia - 10% of graduates in physics, 8% in mathematics).

The number of students in lyceums-winners and prize-winners of the regional and final stages of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren has more than doubled - 62 people (29 people in the 2021/22 academic year). The number of winners and prize-winners of all-Russian and international competitions for design and educational research works is 54 people. This is 30% more than last academic year.

Before the start of the academic year, the Department of Education and Science of the city of Moscow published a ranking of the capital's schools in terms of performance in the 2022-2023 academic year. The Moscow Government recognized the achievements of lyceum students with a Mayor's Grant of the 2nd degree based on the results of an integral assessment of the quality of education (last year, following the results of the 2021/22 academic year, the Mayor's Grant of the 3rd degree was received).
