The Cybermetrics Research Group (Spain) has published the July issue of Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. As in the previous version of the ranking, MEPhI was ranked 4th among Russian universities.
The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is published twice a year by the Cybermetrics Research Group, owned by the Superior Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), the largest public research organization in Spain.

Transparency (openness) – the most cited researchers –10% – the number of citations of the top 310 authors of each university. Data source – Google, Scholar, Profiles.
Excellence - 40% – the number of university publications among the top 10% most cited publications in each of the 27 scientific fields in the period 2018 – 2022. Data source – Scimago.
