“We definitely have two parents: Rosatom and MEPhI! - noted Oksana Linnik, head of the SPhTI, opening the solemn meeting dedicated to the anniversary of the university. - For 65 years, the university has come a long way: SPTI has become the largest and only branch of MEPhI in the Urals and Siberia with a full training cycle from its own engineering classes and college to master's and postgraduate studies. According to the monitoring indicators of the Ministry of Education and Science, among the 11 branches of MEPhI, we are second only to Sarov. Among 1200 universities and branches of Russia, we are in the first league. Out of 88 universities and branches of the Ural Federal District, Ural Federal University and Tyumen University are among the top three. And out of 27 universities and branches of the Chelyabinsk region, we have been leaders for 4 years in a row!”
“I wish further growth and success to the institute, the strengthening of the institute’s fraternity to the students, and new achievements in the noble cause of teaching and educating the scientific, technical and engineering avant-garde of Russia to the teachers!” Vladimir Shevchenko congratulated the staff and students of the anniversary university. The rector presented the staff and teachers of the SPhTI with the awards of the founder - the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the corporate awards of the university.
Each of the participants in the celebration received his personal star; at the end of the holiday, the anthem of Rosatom students was performed by SPhTI students.
The holiday did not end there: dozens of graduates of different years and veterans of the university came to Alma mater to see how the university has changed, what equipment and technologies the Snezhinsk students have at their disposal, and to get acquainted with SPhTI 's plans for the future.
