MEPhI took 2nd place among all Russian universities, showing high results in educational, scientific, innovative activities in the XIV annual National University Ranking for 2023, prepared by the Interfax group.

As part of the ranking study, the activities of 368 Russian universities were evaluated. The assessment of universities was carried out in six areas: "Education", "Research", "Social Environment", "Cooperation", "Innovation and Entrepreneurship", "University Brand".

The ranking includes the leading universities of the country, including 28 national research and 10 federal universities.
