MEPhI took the 4th place among the best universities in Russia in the 12th annual ranking of the 100 best Russian universities RAEX-100 , showing a high level of educational and research activities.
On June 7, as part of the XI Annual Forum of Universities "The Future of Higher Education", the 12th annual ranking of the 100 best Russian universities RAEX-100 was presented. This is one of the two leading rankings of Russian universities. MEPhI rector Vladimir Shevchenko took part in the Forum.
The evaluation of universities was carried out according to 42 university performance indicators. The ranking includes universities from 29 regions of Russia.
When assessing the quality of education in universities (weight 50%), the groups of indicators "Level of teaching", "International integration", "Resource security" and "Demand among applicants" were considered. To assess the demand for university graduates by employers (weight 30%), the groups of indicators "Cooperation with employers" and "Quality of graduates' careers" were analyzed. The level of research activities of the university (weight 20%) was determined based on the groups of indicators "Research potential", "Scientific achievements" and "Research infrastructure".
