I congratulate you on the Day of Russian Science, a day that reminds you that science is the whole cosmos in its Pythagorean understanding.

This is also a way to know the world, to measure the harmony of the Universe with algebra, and to make efforts to transform it.

Science is both a simple and a complex way of satisfying the age-old human quality of curiosity that underlies our civilization's quest to reach the stars and penetrate the depths of matter.

Science is about value: new knowledge for oneself and for others.

Science is about development: of humanity, of the country, of each of us.

Science is about inheritance: the conquest of the intellect of mankind by new generations. I am convinced that Russian science will overcome the trials that have fallen to it today, and once again demonstrate its uniqueness, antifragility and depth!
