Students and postgraduates of Department 41 “Cryptography and Security of Computer Systems” of MEPhI won seven prizes and one certificate of honor at the 9th International Cryptography Olympiad NSUCRYPTO’2022.

“Never before have representatives of MEPhI won so many prizes at the NSUCRYPTO Olympiad,” said Marina Pudovkina, Deputy Head of the Department of Cryptography and Security of Computer Systems at MEPhI.

In the category “Students” in the individual round, the third place was taken by Ilya Vorobyov and Arseniy Lebedev. The certificate of honor was awarded to Dmitry Evsyukov.

In the team round, the second places were taken by Ilya Vorobyov, Yegor Turkin, Yuri Kindeev. Third place was shared by Daniil Sidorenko, Vladislav Onishchenko, Kirill Gaiduk.

Dmitry Zakharov took the third place in the category “Professionals” in the individual round. In the team round, prizes went to Kirill Antonov, Anton Smirnov, Dmitry Zakharov and Irina Slonkina.
